HuNoo is a New York based Korean artist who has expanded his ideas in various ways. He uses traditional sculpture methods, while incorporating unique materials, specifically vinyl. Beginning a piece by welding, HuNoo then covers the structure with vinyl, replacing the more traditional clay medium. He believes plastic vinyl is representative of modern industrial practices and also represents “the eternal life”, due to its long lasting quality. Thus, the artist believes he achieves harmony. He has had several solo exhibitions and participated in the Winter Salon Show at Space 776.
